PhD

PhD Courses
The PhD program in Maritime Management is divided into four main parts:
Core Professional Disciplines, Basic Professional Disciplines, Research Methods, and Joint Seminar Courses.
Students must complete 38 credits of coursework and submit a doctoral dissertation in order to earn a PhD degree.
For regulations regarding the study period, please refer to the 'Graduate School Regulations for PhD Students in the Department of Shipping and Transportation Management.' Submit one month before the scheduled date of the doctoral defense meeting as announced by the university.

  PhD students of this department are required to take four semesters of joint seminar courses. The topics of the seminar courses vary each semester, forming a cycle over four semesters, with each seminar course worth 1 credit.
